Kept me reading....

Very sexy parts. I think that they way she writes I will like her style and I am going to go look for another book she has written.

Where were the fast women?

This book could have been so much better. The women should have bunkered down to create their own agency in the end. I've read 5 Crusie novels and I think this one was at the bottom of the list. Once again, Crusie floods the work with characters you don't get to know....

I was enjoying this book until suddenly Barnes & Noble won't let me finish reading it. The order status says its in my library yet i can't open it. Very frustrating!

    Cute story.

I purchased the audiobook used, and thank goodness I didn't pay full price. I would recommend this book, but definitely read instead of listen to it. I peeked at the book, and I can tell there was a lot of detail left out that might have turned 3 stars into 4...not Crusie's best work, though.

    Decent story, whiny heroine

Entertaining, but not the best Crusie heroine. Nell spends too much time complaining that she's being treated like a secretary, after applying for and being given a job as-gasp!- a secretary!!The secondary characters are much more likable than whiny Nell.
