OMG - An organizational book changed my life!

Less than 1 month ago I bought & read the Fast and Furious method. It has changed my life. I've always hated my clutter, but never knew the steps to conquer it.
In less than a month- every room, every closet, every drawer in my house/garage is de-cluttered & organized! But this lifestyle change has impacted the rest of my life in ways that were unfathomable to me from "just" an organizing book.

My house is cleaner- less to dust.

I'm saving money- I no longer shop for recreation.

I'm proud of where I live- my rooms are beautiful enough to be shown in a home magazine.

I have more time to enjoy my family- house tidying only takes minutes a day,

I'm less stressed- filing/ bill paying is more efficient & on time. I have a relaxing & peaceful environment

Better environmental impact - only buying what I need.

All of the above items, in turn, lead me to be a better role model for my children!

This book gave me what other organizational books have not. This is not just a bunch of tips on how to be organized. It is a step by step chronological list of things to do to actually change your rooms (& your habits) to live clutter free.
If I (a former clutter-junkie) a single working mom of 3, can change my whole household in under a month, ANYONE can!

I saw this book on a table near check-out at B&N with other de-clutter/organizing books. The other books were TONS thicker. I thought, "hmmmm, if our task is to organize more quickly, shouldn't the author be able to say it in less words??" So, I bought this book. Loved it!! It has helped me clean out a closet, organize my garage, get rid of guilt about getting rid of stuff I really don't need, helped me to organize things in a more useful manner. I do find that I must re-read the book when the clutter comes back - but a few quick reads and I've got the magic again. Lots of pictures, useful suggestions, and is organized by room of the house. So I can read just about kitchen, garage, etc and don't have to read the whole book for the area I want to de-clutter. I was reading this on the plane and the lady next to me asked to read it. I recommend it to everyone who is trying to de-clutter. I can actually find things now and my philosophy about storing things in the best places helps to put things where I use them most.
