    more from this reviewer

    Truth; stranger than fiction

I spent most of my life at sea and rode out many storms on much bigger ships. Tougias tells it like it was.

    Cover-to-cover thrills

This is not the kind of book to read before bedtime. I've been reading two chapters a day. The story ranks with "The Perfect Storm," which I re-read countless times. "Fatal Forecast" is as difficult to pu down as it is to quit smoking.

    A reviewer

Once I starting reading the story I could not put it down. I felt as if I were a crew member on the boat. The author did a great job describing all the different events that were taking place. I felt very bad for the men that were lost and also for their families. But I am thrilled for the men who survived. It is a must read for all audiences even those without much knowledge of the sea, much like Tougias' other book Ten Hours Until Dawn which I highly recommend.

another page turner by Michael Tougias!

This author found another amazing true story to tell! Like his book 'Ten Hours Till Dawn', this one keeps you reading till all hours. This story makes you wonder how these men continue to go on and make a living on the sea. These brave souls that live by the sword and die by it too. I find once again, Tougias' writing style to be a reading pleasure.
