    ~¿Wings of Frost¿~ ~¿Prologue¿~

    --By Krazycatgirl--
Moonlight flickered through the silent forest. Only a slight breeze ruffled the midnight silence. Even the energetic flow of the stream was silent. It was perfect. Stars glittered and twinkled like chips of ice, and te moon was a welcoming beautiful milky white. There, perched on the limb of a tall birch, stained silver by moonlight, stood a pair of sky-blue jays. There tail feathers flicked up and down as they chattered to each other. After a brief pause, the broader jay with jagged feathers on his wing spoke up. "It can't be with us anymore. Theres no room in the Tribe!" The smaller, more petite jay chittered back. "It can't go! Im sure theres plenty of room for a-" the broader jay interrupted. "And where would it grow?" He chriped. "Fine. If it survives and comes back, it is welcome." Finally tired with the argument, the female jay flew away through the moon-stricken sky.
