Fate’s Embrace is a book about paranormal characters and starts out with Aleric being a naked statue in Raina’s house. It has been passed down to every generation so when the statue all of a sudden disappears, Raina has no idea what to do.  When she starts dreaming about her statue in human form she knows something is going on.

I enjoyed reading this book. I  never would of thought about putting so many different characters together. You have Raina who is a witch, Aleric who is a wizard, Michael who is a werewolf, and Percy is a six foot long snake.  Snakes scare me and I could never have one as a pet, yet, when I started reading about Percy, I really liked him. His personality is so funny. He talks and doesn’t really care if he freaks anyone out or not. He’s the comic relief in the book.  All of the characters have a strong personality and when you put them together you have a wonderful story.

Fate’s Embrace isn’t really a big erotic book but it’s more than just romance. There is one menage scene when all the characters are involved, except for the snake.  So, when you read this story, don’t be looking for all out sexual fantasy.   The only thing I didn’t understand about this book was how Aleric got his wings and why Percy was turned into a snake.

I had a great time reading this story and uncovering the mystery that was going on and know that if I had a werewolf and a wizard at my disposal that I would greatly enjoy every minute of it too!

    Sizzling Read

A witch, and a wizard, and a werewolf... Oh, my!

Raina's world turns upside down the day she discovers the statue that has been standing guard in her bedroom has suddenly vanished. She wonders why, but her attention is focused on keeping away from an alpha werewolf bent on taking her as his mate.

Protection spells can only do so much and only if Michael means harm, which her body senses is not the case. Still she can't help feeling terrified whenever he's near and eventually her call for help is answered. She just didn't think Aleric would look so much like her missing statue or bring with him the news that her soul is in danger of being stolen.

Now that pesky werewolf is back, but this time when she touches Michael, terror is the last thing she feels. The lust, the magic, and the men... what more could a girl want? Well there is the little matter of Raina possibly losing her soul ...

Ms. Kitts manages to once again keep me on my reading toes with this laugh-out-loud and sexy story. The dialogue is witty and the characters unique. While a few of the scenes changed a bit abruptly, which disrupted some of the story flow, the racier moments between the witch and her wizard and werewolf more than made up for that. My favorite character came in the form of a very sensible if sarcastic, cursed wizard living with Raina as her snake familiar. Percy and Raina have an 'old married couple' kind of relationship and Percy's moment of triumph in the story is awesome.

Fans of paranormal romance will definitely embrace this new story by Ms. Kitts.
