Very informative
I would suggest this book to anyone who recieves the dreaded diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. This book offers insight to the newly diagnosised and would also be a good read for family members of fibro paitents as well.
We have to be our own advocates and we need to know as much as we can about FMS. This book also offers tips with pain managment, fatigue and intimate relationships. It discusses different types of medications and alternate therapys.
I have enjoyed this book mostly because it's written in real terms, not overly educated, medical terms, and it hasn't been "dumbafied" to make those reading it feel stupid.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Excellent resource!
This book offers a lot of information & validates what a victim of this illness is experiencing. This book includes a lot of resources that are available to the sufferer. Due to the stigma associated with this illness it is often hard to find help, but this book shows us where to get it, & offers advice on various treatments available. Strongly recommended!

Great book
When someone has a medical condition, it¿s sometimes hard to find books that can really help. I think Fibromyalgia for Dummies is a great book. It covers many topics, such as who it affects, the importance of sleep, possible causes and how to deal with fibromyalgia. The very first page in the book is called a ¿Cheat Sheet¿ and it has a lot of important information right there. It gives a little summary of what¿s found in the book. One of the best parts about this book is that it is very easy to understand. There are also little symbols on the pages to point out important details, such as ¿Tips¿ and ¿Warnings.¿ This book also helps the reader to tell the difference between fibromyalgia and other possible medical conditions. Fibromyalgia for Dummies is full of helpful information for those who have it. I would definitely recommend it.
