"Fifteen Digits" by Nick Santora is a fast-paced thriller that will keep the reader turning the pages right to the very end. It is conspiracy in its highest form and five men are out to make money in it. However, they soon learn that as they get deeper, there is no way out. Rich Mauro is a hard worker who wants more out of life than he is getting from his construction job. Now he is working his way up from the bottom, which is the basement of a prestigious New York Law firm. With the other four they are approached by a young attorney who shows them how to make the documents they have pass through their hands and make money. The joint account to deposit the money comes with a safety switch: each man only knows one piece of the code.

I have read other books by Nick Santora so that I knew that this one would be just as good. If you like "Law and Order" or the "Soprano’s" or have read his other books then you will enjoy "Fifteen Digits", his newest book. I really seem to get in touch easily with the different characters. They read like the good the bad and the ugly. This definitely was a page turner right up to the gripping climax of the book. Packed full of suspenseful action which clips along at a fast pace and excellent dialogue, it will keep the reader on the edge of the seat. Like his other books written in a Grisham style this too has the potential to become a best seller.

I first have to say I loved the ending. It was a shock to me and actually kept me thinking beyond closing its pages.

This book held a steady pace throughout the book until the end. There are a lot of characters, but I think the author does a great job of moving through them slowly so you get to know them. Introducing them one by one and a little background you get to know the main characters Rich, Jason, Vice, Dylan and Eddie. They are all very different in their race, age, aspirations, and history. If I had to pick my favorites, it would be Rich and Eddie. I really did despise Jason. What a creep!

If you enjoy mysteries and thrillers, you will definitely enjoy this book. It was a quick read, when I was able to settle down with enough time to read. It’s not fluff, just that it flows really well from one point to the next. I didn’t get bored, even with the steady pace as there was enough information being introduced and time to digest it before the author gave you more.

I would definitely read another book by this author. Good job.
