Waste of time and money
This was awful. It constantly jumped from one location/subplot to another. There were too many characters that didn't tie in. The plot was confusing and unbelievable. I felt no connection to any of the characters and started skimming about half way through the book. I bought this book because it was recommended with other authors I like but it is easily one of the worst books I have ever tried to read.

The latest Dragon-One romantic suspense thriller is a fast-paced exhilarating tale
Deep undercover CIA Agent Safia Troy and marine Riley Donovan first met in war torn Serbia when he disobeyed orders about bringing a brother in arms out of danger and she saved his life. The attraction between them left both shaken; however, each knew the time was wrong so they went on with their respective work serving their country in dangerous situations although Riley left the marines to become a Dragon One operative.---------

Several years pass with each still remembering with fondness the brief encounter. They meet again in Singapore as he is on a retrieval mission that she inadvertently intruded upon because her superiors failed to inform her of his assignment. They team up knowing they must stop a psychopath from using a new weapon of mass destruction while each still wants the other with a fierceness that burns.-----------------
The latest Dragon-One romantic suspense thriller (see COME AS YOU ARE) is a fast-paced exhilarating tale from the moment the two undercover agents meet and desire each other while on an under cover assignment. The spies stay heated together while out in the cold. The action never stops whether it is battling a devious enemy or a sexual interlude. Amy J. Fetzer provides her fans with an engaging tale of a male and female spy falling in love while also saving the world.-----------------

Dragon-1 Riley meets his match!
When Safia met Riley in Serbia years before, there were literally bombs bursting in air...and the bond between them was instant and explosive. Though they don't meet again until years later, the attraction still lives as does their duty to their country. Riley sabotaged his military career as a Marine when he went in alone to save downed pilot Sam Wyatt, but went on to serve with Dragon-1 in their specialized rescue work. Safia works alone as a deeply undercover CIA operative and it's in Singapore that she meets again with Riley, inadvertently interfering with a retrieval mission due to a deliberate lack of information from her superiors. As they band together to stop an enemy whose plans to unleash a new weapon on the world through his own twisted means of delivery, Safia and Riley surrender to an attraction that has only grown more fiery through the years. Throw in characters from the previous Dragon-1 titles, deadly bombs, leaks in the CIA, marine archaeology, and some truly twisted DNA manipulation, and you have a story that recalls watching the Bourne films for sheer exhilaration

Fight Fire with Fire has Fetzer's trademark geopolitically charged military adventures and great characterization mixed with steaming romance. Indeed, you'd have to do some gene-manipulating to birth better heroes & heroines than Fetzer creates with her talented pen. For loyalty, heroism, and the good old ooh-rah factor, she has few equals.
If you like the spies, military adventure, top-notch plot development & characterization of Cherry Adair, Cindy Gerard, Alison Kent, Lucy Monroe, and Suzanne Brockmann, you'll love Amy J. Fetzer's previous books: Naked Truth; Perfect Weapon; Hit Hard; Intimate Danger; and Come as You Are. -
