This is a must read for all who value the ability to access and afford health care!

Having written about health care being a right for all weeks before the 2008 Democratic National Convention---and subsequent in the pages of USA Today and the Huffington Post---this concept has gained considerable momentum throughout the nation and is now capsulized in Richard Kirsch's new book, Fighting For Our Health. His writing in straight-forward language also demonstrates the brilliance of a nationwide, grassroots effort (HCAN) to mobilize American thought in a political framework about what it means to acquire and stay healthy. After all, without our health, we have nothing at all; we cannot achieve what we wish to do individually, for our families and loved ones, our communities, our employers, indeed, even to our nation in a global economic sense. And with the U.S. Supreme Court set to hear oral arguments in the legal challenges to the health law enacted in 2010 by President Obama at the end of March 2012 (with decisions expected within months thereafter), the publication of this book could not be more timely. It is a must read for all who value the ability to access and afford health care! /s/milesz14
