    Too much material

There is great material in this book but too much of it. I got bogged down and had to force myself forward in reading it. Any marriage can benefit from this book. The book does teach us to be better listeners and communicators and there are tools available for how we handle our disagreements. I thought some of the humor was good but some friends didn't like it. We all have our own sense of humor. Stan Cronin's book 'How to Date Your Wife' is another book that has similar concepts but its half the length and a much easier read. Forgiving and staying the course, or I prefer to call it enduring to the end are principles I agree with and they are contained herein. Everyone can improve their marriage by reading these two books.
