    Surprising and beautiful variety

Shakira made another oustanding album - so many variation and so beautiful music. I love every track, which is quite rare. 1. En Tus Pupilas: it's also on OF2 ("Something"). Beautiful ballad, partly in French. Romantic sounds. 2. La Pared: more power, just a really nice song. 3. La Tortura: latin sounds, duet with Alejandro Sanchez. Swinging. 4. Obtener Un Si: it's like... it's like... That music from the 1940's! Really surprising, a bit Frank Sinatra, but DEFINATELY amazing. 5. Dia Especial: also on OF2 ("Day And The Time"). Nice ballad, not astonishing, but nice. 6. Escondite Ingles: Wow! What a heavy sound! This is THE rock-track of the album. 7. No: B-E-A-UTIFUL song! Can't say much else! 8. Las De La Intuicion: a bit trance/dance-music. Not so bad at all! 9. Dia De Enero: Slow, latin, nice. 10. Lo Imprescindible: power! And, surprising, partly German. ("Bleib, baby bleib, baby - geht nicht wieder weg"... Stay, baby stay, baby - don't go away again) Must-buy!

    Extraordinary CD

I love this CD. The songs are not as pop-ish and upbeat as on some of Shakira's past albums, but are beautiful, deep, and poignant. The rhythms and background instruments really add to the emotion and originality of the songs. This album takes advantage of Shakira's strong, unique voice and puts it in a great light.

    Amazing and beautiful album!

This is an amazing and beautiful album. This is by far, Shakira's most mature work. The album has very diverse type of songs. There is La Tortura with reggaeton influences, the bossonova tune Obtener Un Si, the electronic La Pared with a beautiful acoustic version included as well, and the alt-rock song La Imprescindible. This album shows off Shakira's love of mixing styles to come up with unique songs all her own. As always, Shakira's beautiful and unusual lyrics can be found throughout the CD. I would highly reccomend this album for fans of Shakira's other works and for music fans in general.

    SHAKI ES UNICA

This is a great CD, it has a little bit of everything, all of the songs are great, and the idea of inviting ALEJANDRO SANZ to do song with her, leaves me speecheless because he's great too.

    Shes Back!!!

The world has been waiting so long for this album to drop, many thought there would be dissapointment but, if anything Shakira has shocked us all. Her Boombastic ryhtms and dance themed style seemed to pop out at you. This is defenatly a great follow up to "Laundry Service." I cant wait for Oral Fixication vol.2 to dorp in mid November!
