    Great

Great app to view, organize, or search your Nook files.

    Meh

    It's GREAT!

But only when compared to the only other file manager that Barnes & Noble have let onto the greatly, and artificially, limited Nook Color "platform" (that is really just an App running on top of Android 2.3) 'Open File Manager'. Which, of course is buggy, prone to crash, and locks up when you try to move or copy more than a handful of files.

File commander, at least, is stable most of the time, but the compromises that the developer had to make in order to be allowed into the Nook Color's Walled Weed Patch (it's certainlly NO garden!) have made the app nearly useless. Especially the absence of the root (/) directory.

Even with this installed, I find myself unable/unwilling to remove Open File Manager from my Nook Color. Together, you might just get the functionality of a single, slow, clunky and imperfect app.

I usually find that there is no way to do the things I want to do to files on the Nook Color.

I'm probably going to reflash it with a REAL Android OS, since I can move all of the files, etc, off the Color before I do. The worst thing is that the Nook Color is faster and more reliable than my Nook HD+. Especially for web-browsing!
