This is a journalistic account of the true story of Joey Coyle,

This is a journalistic account of the true story of Joey Coyle, an out-of-work and drug-addicted 28 year old man, who finds $1.2 million which had fallen from an armored truck. It’s a riveting drama which at turns takes twists into humor and suspense but ends, unfortunately, as a tragedy. Coyle is portrayed as an amiable man who essentially blows through much of the money in two weeks, simply by giving it away to homeless, using it on drugs, “forgetting” where he put it, and sharing it with shady businessmen and friends who find out about his fortune and begin to confront him for a piece of the loot. Add to all this, Joey increasingly uses methamphetamine (speed) which causes him paranoid delusions and crippling anxiety. Finders Keepers is sharp and well-written; a fascinating tale of an ordinary man faced with a moral dilemma, and the ensuing reactions of family, friends, neighbors, and police who become a part of his misadventures.

    Finders Keepers

I would like two thirds of my money back.
The story was stretched and babbled just like Joey and company. I expected a lot more story for $10.00.

Down & Out Bumbler Stumbles Onto a Million Dollars

A quick read!! Non-fiction which reads like fiction as the situation is so unbelievable. Joey Coyle, while out driving with his buddies sees a cart in the street which he (Joey) thinks can be sold as scrap or for a tool box. When Joey gets out to get the cart, bags of money fall out!! The book follows the next seven days of the life of Joey Coyle and his friends and acquaintances throughout Philadelphia, NJ and New York. The writing style is real and earthy. Having traveled to Philadelphia and the New Jersey area the descriptions of the areas where Joey lived make the book come to life. One of the answers being sought by the reader, is what is Joey going to do? An excellent book to read for its pure entertainment value. The way it is written and divided up into newspaper type chapters makes it a book that can be read on the run by the reader!!
