    TEEN THRILLER!!!!!!!

This book picks up exactly where Streams of Babel left off. Fire Will Fall is a shocking second to Streams of Babel. In my opinion, this book is FILLED with action. I mean, itstarts out witht them packing their things to go to the mansion. The end is nothing you expected. Straigt out impossible to think in the beginning. There isn't a single part in the book that even goes near being slow. Cora fights to find herself between all the madness. Everyone plays an important part in the book. And what Omar, the terrorist leader, will do next. The Kid as he is called shows amazing talent along with Tyler at figuring out the chatter between Omar and his subjects and assasins. Everybody is a suspect in being an aliance. The characters make mistakes in that situation. I can't straight out tell you who betrays the Trinity Four but the killer lies right under your nose the entire time. I myself had thought they were innocent but I was proven wrong. Everything ties together in the end and I think that's my favorite part about this book. Every string of the book goes in every different dorection in the beginning and during the middle, but everything comes together and tells you the truth in the end. I can't wait until the third book comes out. I hope there will even be a third book. Just the way Carol ends it with a fabulous cliffhanger is enough to gove you chills as you close the book. This is one of my favorite books along with Streams of Babel. This is a definite read!!!!

A Thriller for Teens: Fire Will Fall by Carol Plum-Ucci

The sequel to Streams of Babel, this book (Fire Will Fall) remembers the Trinity Four and their two V-Spy heroes in a second attack by ShadowStrike, a terrorist clan mutating strains of the Q3 virus. The teens face a new threat, called FireFall, which eats away at flesh and other substances in a matter of minutes. USIC (United States Intelligence Coalition) works to stop the terrorists from hurting anyone else. Who will survive this second round of attacks? An even greater question remains, who will survive the threat of falling in love while trying to fight the illness that the terrorists had given them from the first round of attacks?
I thought this book and its predecessor was a great way to inform teens about the issues of terrorist attacks and working through the aftermath. It also brings up great issues of facing an uncertain future and trying to find one's way in life. Though, I'll let you read the book to get the ending, I will say that I didn't like the ending. I am a fan of happy endings, and I feel that the ending still left the reader dealing with loss. Some would say that it's more life-like and reality-driven, but I feel that the loss presented in the end of this novel was one that I will never come to like or even appreciate. Overall, I felt that this was a good book despite the crushing ending.

    more from this reviewer

    Awesome sequel!

I love this book! It not only met, but exceeded my expectations! You must read Streams of Babel before you even THINK about reading this, though. The only thing I disliked is *Spoiler Alert*! they killed Owen off at the end! that kinda sucked.
Killing off main characters = Upset me.lol,TEEHEE!

    I Also Recommend:

    AMAZING

I loved Streams of Babel and when I found out that there was going to be a sequel I was so happy. I couldn't put down Streams of Babel. I was reading it during class and my teachers would tell me to put it away and then when they weren't looking I had it opened again and was reading it. I cannot wait until May 3rd!!!!!!!!!
