    Interesting

This book broke some new ground for me, and I found the debates over bombing strategy intersting. I thought it focused a little to much on debate over british bombing strategy, at the expense of American strategy and results. Parts of this book regurgitated memos, word for word, some of which I found dry. But there were parts of this book I really liked, like the description of the bombing from the perspective of both the airmen and civilian victims. I also found the reaction of the Nazi leadership engrossing. I thought that the description of the fighter escorts was short shifted, although there was some discussion of in in the content. Overall, a good book, which had some dry spots.
