While the book covers information that I was generally unknown to me, the Confederate thrust toward Philadelphia during the Gettsyburg campaign, I was disappointed with the presentation. The book seems to be a grouping of facts with minimal effort make to assemble them into an interesting narrative. Sentences are frequently poorly structured and there is a considerable amount of redundancy. I spent a lot of time thinking about how things could have been written (and I'm not an English teacher).
