This book is horrible and a disgrace to Nat Turner and his legacy. It focuses on everything else that was occurring in Virginia at the time and not Nat Turner and his story. This book reads like many history books written from a White perspective. It does not capture the emotions and stories of African Americans. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Out of the 177 pages that this book has only 4 are dedicated to the Slave Rebellion itself. Not good enough for even 1 star
