    I enjoyed reading this

As I watch quite a bit of world affairs, I really enjoyed the perspective of this book. It was an incredible perspective to a man who is emerging as a remarkable world leader. Very nice to understand modern day soviet life as well.

While I did not enjoy reading this one as much as "Putin&qu

While I did not enjoy reading this one as much as "Putin" by Chris Hutchins, it is probably more realistic. I stalk Putin to an unhealthy degree and have noticed a lot of people try to spice him up. He has spoken of these peoples' fantasies before. A lot of Russian leaders have been oppressive and Satanic. People also paint such a picture around him. Yes, Putin has a side to him that I have experienced, but he isn't quite as sadistic, which this book illustrates as well. I will continue to be a fanatical fan of his and appreciate this book and how honest it seems to be.

    Interesting

I had a great deal of interest in Putin before. Now that I have read this book I want to read more.

    Russia's Man of Mystery

I bought this book to assist me with a term paper and found that this man of mystery is truly a remarkable political mind in action. It is a refreshing interview consisting of facts of his past, present, and future endeavors. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about what type of hands Russia is in and the man that is holding her.

He is one of my heroes!!

I read this book with a translated version into Korean language because I could not afford to get the English version. As I read each chapter of the book, his shrewd, responsible, and eminent attitudes impressed me. In addition, when I read he had a well trimmed body and could say he regareded Judo as philosophy, I began to look him up and respect him. I am sure he would lead Russia into a better way.

Vladimir Putin is probably not who you're expecting!

Whatever your opinion of the President of Russia, it will change after you read this book. Read fascinating interviews with Putin, as well as some from his family and friends. These aren't formal statements from a president, rather Vladimir telling about his life. Read about his time in East Germany, and what he thought of the repressive regime. He talks about his family, his time in the KGB, and his passion for Judo. This book was published orginally in Russian for the Russian people. Find out what they know about their president that we don't.
