    Well-written, beautifully illustrated book

    This book, The First Thanksgiving caught my eye from the beautiful artwork on each page. It also tells stories of Squanto's kidnapping & slavery by Englishmen before the Pilgrims, the history of Plymouth Rock, and the Pilgrims starvation, down to 5 kernels of corn per person. Gov. William Bradford invited Squanto, Massasoit and a few friends to the feast. The Indians brought 90 friends! A great book
