More that just a "conspiracy theory"

As someone who thought he knew sports, I was shocked to discover some of the information held within these pages. This book is an encyclopedia covering every dirty dealing in the history of sports. What's more, the author makes sense of it all. He reminds the reader that professional sports are a multi-billion dollar business and that they constantly and continuously to lie to their fans to further their own profitable ends. Perhaps, if the author got it right, the leagues have even stooped so low as to fix their own games to ensure high TV ratings from which they profit the most.

Best of all, he doesn't just make that claim, he backs his work with solid facts and quotes from highly reliable sources (ESPN, SI, etc). This isn't some goofy blogger spouting off his opinion, it's coming from someone who has done his homework and is willing to stick his neck out by writting this.

It's not just a must read for sports fans everywhere, it changes the way you look at sports and watch the games...at least it did for this reader.

I recommended this to any sports fan

I truly believe this book open my eyes and helped me realize sports are just entertainment. No need for us to take it to seriously. Do I believe in the conspiracy theories? not sure but I believe its possible.
