No 'Fear of Flogging' For Me After Reading This Book
Joseph Bean, a long time leatherman has written a wonderful guide to the world of flogging. While he cautions that you can't learn this art simply from reading a book (and he's right), there still are many reasons any flogger (or 'floggee') should buy this book. The book is divided into four main sections, each illustrating a 'scene' of one kind or another involving flogging. The first scene is a flogging involving a Dom and a sub, which leads into a discussion about basic flogging techniques. Subsequent scenes cover negotation techniques, intense scening, what kind of floggers you can get and flogging technique. There's even a scene of sorts which involves cleaning your toys. What I also liked were the appendixes in the back of the book, one which was a breif 'history' of whipmaking and one on what kind of floggers to buy. I've enjoyed reading some of Joseph's work in the recent past; this book is no exception!
