Could not put it down

This dual book was sensational! I vaguely remember "Flowers" from when I was in Jr High. I never finished the series then, not really sure why. Glad I chose to re-purchase this series! The "Flowers" & "Petals" were so good I found myself thinking about the character...
This dual book was sensational! I vaguely remember "Flowers" from when I was in Jr High. I never finished the series then, not really sure why. Glad I chose to re-purchase this series! The "Flowers" & "Petals" were so good I found myself thinking about the characters and what would happen next as soon as I stopped reading. It took me less than a week for both books and I am not a fast reader. The torment Chris & Cathy dealt with was horrid and tragic. Their suffering continued into the second book. I do not want to give away anything else for fear I will spoil it for someone else. Happy reading!!

These books are very good, and it's hard to put down. I just felt very depressed after I was done with the series, so I recommend a light, easy to read book after this.

    A MUST READ!!!!! :)

i had my doubts about reading this book.... my friend recommened it to me .. she could barely put the book down... when i first started reading the book i have to say it didn't intrigue me as much as I wated it to. Although later on I started loving the book and getting more addicted. The characters can have you hating them in one in minute and then loving the next. You go through this journey it Cathy,Christopher,Cory, and Carrie as if you were one of the children in the attic. Flowers in the Attic and Petals in the Wind tell you about the four little flowers that were trapped in a attic for the reason that the only person they depended on,their mother was blinded by money and fortune. It tells the tale of how when the flowers are deprived their perspective of life changes completely and how they have no one else to depend on but themselves.
