My sister has State III Kidney disease and had given up a lot of her favorite foods
This book was very helpful in adding back foods she would have to give up. I highly recommend this easy to understand and follow guide for demeneralizing foods

Food for Life!
This book is a MUST for anyone with kidney disease or someone who must control their salt and potasium. Learn to eat smart and healthy -- without unwanted minerals. Eat great foods right now, the safe and healthy way.

Ms. Jones hits the mark once again. Food-Fuel-Fitness is a must read for all those who suffer chronic kidney disease as well as any health care professional involved in renal care. This text is for all audiences, concise and simple to follow. I would encourage any kidney patient to employ these techniques as outlined by Ms. Jones. She has empowered the renal community to not only expand the list of foods available, but to do so while managing salt and mineral intake at acceptable levels.

What a disappointment!
I ordered this book hoping it would help me prepare meals that would be appropriate for my husband, who is in renal failure. What I received is a book that tells me to soak everything in water before cooking it. What a disappointment!
