    Excellent Book

Albert DeMeo has done an excellent job of creating a fine balance between honoring the father that he loved, without glamourizing the pain he caused and the crimes he participated in. This book is touching and eye-opening and would be enjoyed even by someone who is not a 'mob' fan.

I tip my hat to Albert DeMeo

For the first time a book has been written about Mafia life that is told by a true insider. De Meo tells an honest portrait of his relationship with his father and how it related to life in the Mafia. It makes one really look at how the Mafia is portrayed, how these people have their own way of living their lives, that most of us don't understand. I was particularly impressed with the honesty of the young De Meo and his storytelling about his inner-most feelings about his father and his family. I wish Al good-luck with his future.

    An Honest Review

Fill with action and emotion. Albert was spoiled in the life and caused him to go through some of the things he did. The action made me read continuously, all the way to the end, very provoking.

The Book Is About Loss Not The Mob Colm

I too lost someone in a violent manner and their lifestyle was to blame but it does not make their loss to me any less painful. It was the best book I ever read , It has helped me through many a dark night, I cant wait for the movie. P.S. I had the pleasure of meeting Al DeMeo at a charity event and he is far from a cry baby but a Dam Sexy Man Sincerely Elizabeth
