Forbidden Attraction by Marisa Carroll Harlequin NASCAR Series L

    Forbidden Attraction by Marisa Carroll
Harlequin NASCAR Series Library Secrets And Legends Book 2
Sophia Grosso puts her nursing skills to work after Justin Murphy gets hurt trying to help her out. Her family always tried to tell her she was suppose to hate the Murphy’s but she can’t seem to do that. If she chooses to even be friends with Justin, her choice will take her family away from her. And what no one really knows is that Sophia is a coward.

Justin Murphy was afraid he might be like the father he never knew, not relationship material. Especially when it comes to a relationship with the woman who’s relatives may have killed not only his great uncle but his father as well. Tell his heart that though.

The story continues where In High Gear left off. They still don’t know who is responsible for the deaths of two Murphy’s and feud is still alive and strong. Sophia and Justin are up against a hate that has been building for over fifty years. Other characters introduced in this story will have their own tales told in future books. The next book introduces one of the Branch daughters in Truth and Consequences. There are sixteen books in all for this part of the Harlequin NASCAR series.

    well written and entertaining

On the NASCAR circuit Justin Murphy looks like a promising driver with quite a future ahead of him if he can control his risk taking activity. When he is injured by an outraged fan, nurse Sophia Gross tends to him. They are instantly attracted to one another, but their families have a bloody history.---------------- Whereas her pedigree is NASCAR royalty with her father a legend and her brother the current champion, his is a dead dad. He and his family believe her dad caused the accident that killed his father. Still they fall in love in spite the obstacles their feuding families toss at them with their abrasive whispering campaign.------------ Although the NASCAR romances are relatively knew, the Romeo and Juliet theme of feuding families has been used too frequently. Thus the well written and entertaining FORBIDDEN ATTRACTION has a lot to overcome yet Marisa Carroll does so with a fine tale of love between two wonderful lead players who deserve a chance together if their families would only let them be instead of a whisper campaign worse than that used to destroy McCain in 2000 South Carolina. Sub-genre fans will enjoy this spin around the tack.---------------- Harriet Klausner
