I enjoyed reading this fun and entertaining book. I thought the story was great, with a good plot, and the author did a great job bringing the characters to life and making me really be able to picture them (something that's important to me as I read books). I loved the author's writing style. I felt like I could hear the author's personality and voice coming through the pages as I was reading it.

Not really worth the 99 cents

I'm not fond of fiction that professes a certain religious viewpoint without warning, and espouses a biased political viewpoint. When the mystery story becomes a venue for soapboxing, a lot gets lost in the real storytelling. Thread were dropped, portions of the story...
I'm not fond of fiction that professes a certain religious viewpoint without warning, and espouses a biased political viewpoint. When the mystery story becomes a venue for soapboxing, a lot gets lost in the real storytelling. Thread were dropped, portions of the story were never completed. It is only 100 pages or so long and was pretty much a waste of time. This should be marked Christian fiction, and very conservative politically. If I could return it, I would.

    more from this reviewer

    Oh hum

I started reading this 500+ page book expecting, as my hubby says, "kill, murder, death", alas nothing. After being half way thru we were still discussing a variety of characters. Having been in real estate related business ourselves, that was the only thing that sort of kept me reading. Finally I caved, quit reading and DELETED. Just not my cup of tea.

Would recommend if you are into real estate

Too much real estate speak and being born again and how she is a much better person than most. Not enough suspense. I would not recommend this for a book club discussion. Probably will not read other books by this author.

Quit reading after a few chapters

Was more of a business /economy type book - very hard to read. Main character was very into herself . Dont usually quit reading book in middle but I just couldnt waste anymore time. This was not my kind of book.
