Hilderich D'Augnasy in his Visions of The Aftermath writes: " It is by fortune alone that man maintains his bountiful existence, unhindered by the forces beyond his grasp, unaware of what lies beyond. Once that veil is lifted, who can foretell the future?"
Forge of Stones begins just like that, with Hilderich and everybody else in his world going about their lives totally unaware of what is happening in their world,to continue with his rude wakening, his blind but desperate search for answers and in the end salvation,to end with a mind-blowing revelation that leaves all stunned.
If you like suspense and in-depth presentation of characters who become heroes because fortune just decided so for them , you will like this book!
