    Just Wonderful

I picked up this book when I was just getting into fantasy reading. I read this book and I just craved for more Drizzt. It has non-stop action, complex and realistic characters, superb descriptions, and it is one that you're just not able to put down. I am in love with the whole series and any other series Salvatore has written, especially the Drizzt ones.

Fantasy fans everywhere will go gaga for Drizzt Do'Urden!

Forgotten Realms is a continuation of D&D with Drizzt Do'Urden in the lead. When Drizzt witnesses everything to hate in Drow society- betrayal, murder, and the outright horror of what the drow stand for- he realizes he can't and won't live like his horrible kin. Come with Drizzt on the start of this epic journey by learning the inner secrets of the drow as they have never been heard before and diving head-first into the start of his adventure to try to right the world and rid himself of his damning heritage. Please read this wonderful book! (Rating actually 4 1/2.) Recommended for young adult/teen readers.

    Good read

This book is one of the best books I personally have ever read. But that being said it is not for everyone. This book is very focused to those who have read other fantasy books and is highly formatted thus.

    Love it

I read this book some time ago and I'm glad it's as good as I remember it. The world isn't as in-depth as Tolkien's, but the characters definitely pull you into their world. Can't wait till I can buy the rest of the series.

    Pulls you in!

At first the story is strange and hard to understand, then he pulls you in and you feel like you are there with Drizzt. Drizzt is so well described in this story it sometimes feels like you have known him for a long time. R. A. Salvatore does a wonderful job putting detail into this and all of his books, as we see with Drizzt. He develops the story of the inhabitants of the Underdark, the drow. It starts off with action and keeps going. Salvatore's fight scenes are the best ever written, I think, just because they are so detailed. You feel like you are standing right there witnessing them. Its almost as if he is just recalling memories from the past. Very worth reading.
