John Hagee in his new book, "Four Blood Moons" published by Worthy Publishing confirms that Something Is About to Change.

From the back cover: "...There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."Luke 21:25a, 28

It is rare that Scripture, science, and history align with each other, yet the last three series of Four Blood Moons have done exactly that. Are these the "signs" that God refers to in His Word? If they are, what do they mean? What is their prophetic significance?

In this riveting book, New York Times best-selling author, Pastor John Hagee, explores the supernatural connection of certain celestial events to biblical prophecy-and to the future of God's chosen people and to the nations of the world.

Just as in biblical times, God is controlling the sun, the moon, and the stars to send our generation a signal that something big is about to happen. The question is: Are we watching and listening to His message?

I like Astronomy always have. For me going to the Planetarium still remains a thrill. God put such order, precision and beauty in the heavens which might be the reason why I enjoy it so much. Even so up until this point I have never heard of the four blood moons event. Pastor Hagee draws on scripture, NASA science and history in order to explore the significance of this astronomical event and to show how it will impact Israel and possibly all of mankind. Full lunar eclipses called "blood moons" occur when the infrared band of light gets around the Earth thus making the moon appear red. This event happens very rarely. So far there have been only three occurrences and each have had an impact on Israel's history: one occurred when Israel became a nation while another occurred during the Six-Day War when Jerusalem was reunited with Israel. The "blood moons" will occur four times; twice in 2014 and twice in 2015. Each will fall on a major Jewish Holy Day. From the Star appearing in Bethlehem to announce the birth of Jesus every heavenly body is controlled by the unseen hand of God to send signals to humanity of coming events. Do we know what is going to happen? No. However Pastor Hagee tells us that God is getting ready to change the course of human history. We should be ready for whatever happens.

The book by John Hagee Four Blood Moons may be well written, from an English and literature point of view, but is it based on the word of God? Anyone who reads the Bible with understanding knows that John does not always follow the traditions of God but the traditions of man. The majority of his teachings deal with subjects that make him popular in the sight of his followers.
The book Four Blood Moons had no significance to Israel, unless we believe God gives warning ten months to years after something comes to pass. This book has no significance to the nation of Israel at all; John Hagee is either biblically illiterate or a great deceiver.
He teaches that the church will not go through the great tribulation; Christ will return and remove the church from the Earth and carries His church to heaven. This is not rightfully dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) Matthew 24:29 declares that after the tribulation there will be signs in the sun and the moon; (29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. NKJV)the stars are also mentioned, as I read this passage all this is going on at the same time. Joel proves this to be true as well as Revelation, and others; Joel 2:10 The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness. NKJV Joel 3:15 The sun and moon will grow dark, And the stars will diminish their brightness. NKJV Revelation 8:12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. NKJV
Preachers like John Hagee are like politicians-follow the money trail. Many preachers only preach what they think the people want to hear or will pay for. John Hagee believes in the dispensations of time, and we are living in the dispensation of grace. The law does not apply to the ones who are living in the dispensation of grace. Is not tithes and offerings part of the law? Dispensation; An exemption or release from an obligation or rule, granted by or as if by an authority. By whose authority was any one released from the words of the Great I AM? Matthew 5:18-19 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. NKJV heaven and Earth has not passed away so the law is still in effect.
John is making a great living by the lies and deceptions he is spreading to the ones who listens and reads what he has to say most are so close minded that he is making merchandise of them. 2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. NKJV
Would you read a book whose author was Satan the devil? And if you did would you believe what was written? The only difference between the two Satan is masquerading as an angel of light, and John is masquerading as a minister of righteousness they are not to be believed they are both liars and deceivers. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. NKJV
Do not believe John Hagee or myself, read the Bible for yourselves and ask God for understanding. May the great God of creation open your minds to all understanding.

Just as in biblical times, God is controlling the sun, the moon, and the stars to send our generation a signal that something big is about to happen. The question is: Are we watching and listening to His message?
Inspired by NASA projections and recorded history, John Hagee shows direct connections between four blood-moon eclipses and major world events. Further, he reveals the significance of the four upcoming “blood moons” and what they portend for Israel and all of humankind.
The author explains how this rare astronomical series of events has synchronized with dramatic Biblical events in the past and offers interesting speculation as to what may be in the near future for Christians and Jews.
Hagee draws on scripture, NASA science, and history in order to explore the significance of this astronomical event and to show how it will impact Israel and possibly all of mankind. From the Star appearing in Bethlehem to announce the birth of Jesus every heavenly body is controlled by the unseen hand of God to send signals to humanity of coming events. Hagee shows that God uses the sun and moon as signs, giving us the biblical evidence, and connecting them to the history of Israel. He explores the importance of the Shemittah year, the relevance of 490 year events, and the significance of the 9th of Av. He spends quite some time on Israel and the importance of the nation in the plans of God. He covers the importance of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Hagee reviews the previous times the four blood moons occurred on the Jewish holidays of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles. I found the book to be informative and well documented. I recommend the book for those interested in learning more about what the bible says regarding signs and wonders in the sky and to do further research.
I received a copy of Four Blood Moons from Worthy Publishing Group for my review.

    Highly recommend

Very interesting book. Especially the history of the blood moons in conjunction with the Jewish nation and peoples. Since I believe Christ will return for his people I can't wait to see what the years 2014 and 215 will bring.

I was a bit disappointed that there was not more specific, detailed technical information on the blood moon tetrad for 2014-2015, but the history of the previous tetrads beginning with the one surrounding the Spanish Inquisition and the maiden voyage of Columbus offers an especially important perspective. In addition, the chapters leading up to the blood moons was important information for those curiosity seekers who don't yet have a perspective from which to view and evaluate the significance of God's dealings with His people. This is another important reference by which to evaluate the "signs of the times".
