TMI
I read this on my nook which made it over 1200 pages. If this book wouldnt of had 600 pages of total blah blah blah, it would of been a good read. It had a good plot that was never totally focused on, and kept jumping around. It didnt even focus on the romance it was so busy with TMI.

Okay...
I am new to Ross's books, and read this one because I gravitate to stories including military bad boys. After reading her Blue Bayou series, I had high hopes for this group of books. It was slow at times, but I am fairly glad I stuck with it toward the end. I hope the following books in the series won't take so much time jumping around. Not a bad read, but not one of my favorites. If you are into military bad boys, you should definitely check out Cindy Gerard's Bodyguards and Black Ops series.

Fun read
Fun read. Likeable characters who aren't perfect but are great for each other.

A little too much information
It was a fun murder mystery that kept me guessing until the last few chapters. I enjoyed the romance between Zachary and Sabrina, but found it odd that as soon as Zachary fell in love his PTSD seemed to disappear. I also thought that there was a lot of unneeded info on characters that you wouldn't see again. Overall, a good story and I'll definitely read other books in this series.

Fun Thriller
I think this is my first time reading JoAnn Ross but I found the story line to be very good. I really enjoyed it. It is not the typical romance that I usually read so I like the mystery thriller part of it. I recommend reading this especially if you aren't all about the LOVE story and just looking for a good relaxing read.

Page Turner!
I loved it! There were a lot of side action happening that either she didn't need to include or I wish she would have elaborated a little more, maybe gave some closure to some of the side action. It was thrilling and romantic all at the same time, very seldom have I been able to find this exact combination. I can't wait to read the next!

Another Great Book
I don't know how Joann Ross does it. She keeps you in suspense with the "who done it" High Risk Novels

Freefall Soars
Freefall by JoAnn Ross starts off a pulse pounding High Risk Trilogy. _______ Former Navy Seal Zach Tremayne comes home to Swann Island after a mission goes terribly wrong. Doing construction for his father¿s company is helping work through some of his demons. One of the jobs is at the Swann family home where he shocks newly returned Sabrina Swann. ___________ Sabrina Swann is also recovering from her own recent trauma. She survived a terrorist attack at the European hotel where she worked. Sabrina¿s return to Swann Island was to help her decide the new direction of her life. She wasn¿t expecting to literally be scared by Zach Tremayne working on her family home. ___________ There is danger lurking on Swann Island, women are being brutally murdered. This has the residents on edge. When someone targets Sabrina, Zach¿s protective nature takes over. As the killer spins out of control, Zach and Sabrina fight to stay one step ahead of them. Trying to stay alive and falling for each other has them drawing closer by the day. _________ Freefall is a riveting tale of suspense and a sexy romance. Exciting romantic suspense thriller
Having served in the Afghan War, former SEAL Chief Petty Officer Zach Tremayne returns to his hometown Swann Island, South Carolina he hopes the barrier island will enable him to move past his recent appalling experience of seeing the deaths of his brothers in arms. Sabrina Swann also returns to her hometown Swann Island, South Carolina she hopes the barrier island will enable her to move past the appalling deadly terrorist attack on the Florence, Italy Paradiso Angeli Hotel where she was a waitress. --- Zach and Sabrina were teen sweethearts so with both coming home and suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), they naturally come together. As they help each other move forward, they begin to fall in love. However, the serene Swan Island of their youth is no more as a serial killer stalks, tortures and kills women with Sabrina in his sights. --- The Coastal Carolina barrier island makes for a perfect setting for the first High Risk romantic suspense thriller. The romance is the more fascinating subplot as two walking wounded struggle to relate in spite of falling in love as PTSD does not lead to trust both knows the issues are inside them not their beloved. Although the serial killer element adds suspense and enables Zach to way too easily shed his PTSD crippling illness to try to save Sabrina, fans will enjoy the exciting FREEFALL with its unique romance. --- Harriet Klausner
