I love Tess Oliver's writing style. Her characters have a strong voice...the suspense is a bit weak and the ending to it is a bit abrupt. ..as is the overall ending to the book. I liked Nix a ton, his voice and personality shone through. Why four stars? The ending. It hit its peak and bam over with very little to no more development or idea of what happens next with any of the characters. It's just over, leaving me feeling a bit robbed. However, it's still a really good book at over 450 pages. Finished it in about three hours. Worth the time and .99 cents

The side characters were more interesting

Honestly the only reason I read this entire book was for Clutch and Dray. I found their side storirs much more intetesting than Nix and Scotlyn. I just feel like I had read their story. Over. And over. Beautifully damaged damsel meets hot tattoed bad boy player. They instantly fall in love and save each other after some medicore action and benn there done that sex scenes. I couldnt get myself to be interested in Nix or Scotlyn no mater how i tried.

    No depth

Great reviews but horrible book. No depth or true plot. Close to 500 pages of boredom. I read half before giving up.
