Sometimes certain issues in our lives can suck the air out of us—stress, worry, health issues, etc., and work, relationships, and faith can become stale. Isn’t it refreshing to sit back, and get a breather? And who better to get a breather from, than the provider of our every breath—our God. This book shows techniques and ways of thinking we can incorporate into our lives to grow our relationship with Him.
Chris Hodges shares an exhilarating and refreshing standpoint, beneficial to anyone wanting to re-charge his or her spiritual life.

Everyone has been in a slump, the doldrums, etc. and needed a "breath of fresh air" to be re-energized. The author tells how God can help us be refreshed and grow closer to Him. I thought there were some good points but found the overall book rather dull.

    Enlightening

This book has a lot of great insight into the marvelous heart of God. It was difficult for me to follow though, because it attempts to cover too many points in one book. There are also a couple of quotes of scripture that are taken a little out of context.
