Weber is a cowboy who falls in love with neurosurgeon named Cyrus. After their whirlwind affair that seemed to be the one explosive thing in their lives that left a lasting impression, Weber once again seeks Cyrus out.

Weber has quit bull riding. At over forty, his body isn’t working at peak condition anymore. As he makes a stop before he finds another ranch to work at, he finds Cyrus who takes him into his family.

It’s a sweet gesture and one that really sets the tone of the book. Calmes creates the most loving family in Cyrus, his sister and her three children. Some of the children are adjusting to different life events in a bad way. This is where Weber becomes the sitter for these kids, integrating himself deeper into the Benning family. I loved reading his interactions with the children. It displayed just how perfectly he fit into their lives.

Another thing I have to mention is the explosive chemistry between Weber and Cy. The sex is sizzling hot and had some of the best dirty talk between men.

At less than 200 pages, I gobbled up Frog in one sitting. It’s one of those uplifting stories that make you believe in love. It also doesn’t hurt that there’s super hot dirty talk either.

This story was such a joy to read that really I don't know where to start.

The characters were amazing. Weber, a tender, loving man with a stubbornness that makes you want to throttle and hug him at the same time, won my affection within a couple of pages. That's not to say that Cyrus was far behind. Through Weber's eyes, we see an honest man who is deeply in love with Weber. He fights his frustration over Weber's stubbornness because he knows what drives him and he loves him and accepts him for all that he is. But truly, what's there not to love about Weber? He makes everyone around him comfortable and is always willing to lend a hand. He is alone in the world and he treasures his relationship with others, especially Cyrus even in moments when he knows he is causing him pain. He's adorably funny with a heart of gold, passionate and loyal. I loved him!

The writing was very good even if at times the flashbacks during present time confused me a bit. I don't know if it was the formatting of my file, but at times I lost track of where I was regarding the story. However, the characters, their story and their chemistry made up for it since it were those that kept me reading the book in one sitting. The secondary characters were entertaining and added to the story in a way that let me truly connect with the main characters by watching how they interacted with each other. This is turn added to my enjoyment of the book.

I have to say that this book was not at all what I was expecting. It was sweet, hot and entertaining. Thank you Cardeno for the recommendation. :-)

A sweet story. Made me laugh out loud and cry hard. I know very few books that balance the comedy so well with the drama. I loved these characters. Read it. Its worth it.

    One of my favorites!

I have read many, many books in this genre, and this book remains one of my all time favorites. The characters are memorable and endearing. And the story warms my heart. It is sweet and steamy and so full of love.

    I highly recommend it!
