DELIGHTFUL...
What a thoroughly delightful book. Daisy Karam-Read has truly captured the Mississippi culture... graciousness, language, warmth of spirit, amazing Southern people. This book reminds me of all the reasons I love to go HOME.

Delightful from cover to cover!
I am from NY and was wowed by this savvy, spirited, city gal as she discovered and celebrated Mississippi and the South in all of its charms. I really could relate and loved the discovery process. Daisy Karam-Reed took me on a great ride...in great style. In this book 'Miss Daisy' is doing the 'Driving'!

Easy reading & enjoyable.
I was born & raised in New York City and had visited Mississippi, so the title caught my interest. Once I got into it I found it easy, funny and enjoyable read that not only describe Mississippi but the people as well. Portraits of the residents of Mississippi are incisive and filled with humor. It makes me want to visit Mississippi again. I await Ms Read¿s next book.

FINALLY, someone has written truly inspiring words about our beautiful state! I hope this book inspires folks all over the Nation to come visit and see for themselves how wonderful Mississippi and its people are. By the way, Mississippians also love New York!
