Psychological Thrills and Chills
The thing with short story collections is while there are certain to be great stories, you can be just as sure to find the stories that you never wish you had laid eyes on. This collection is no exception. What I liked about this collection is the bravery of the writers to explore the deepest and darkest regions of the human mind, that is where terror truly lies. 'Rami Temporalis' starts this collection off with a kick. An excellent story. As is the next, 'All Hands'. Then it's downhill for awhile except for a freaky story entitled 'N0072-JK1'. The problem with most of the problem stories is that they either don't tread any new ground ('Faith Will Make You Free'), or they don't make any sense ('The Planting') and go on way too long for no reason. I hate that. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
