Rating: 4.5

Frost on my Moustache is laugh-out-loud funny. Tim Moore spends two months traveling in the Arctic, and lives to write about it, with results that are often hilarious. Whether he's battling sea sickness or committing some faux paus, Moore really knows how to laugh at himself. This book is entertaining, funny and even a little bit educational. Moore certainly knows how to write a lively travelogue. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I started reading this book over a year ago, read parts of it, and about six months ago I picked it up again and read almost all of the last half. At times it is hysterically funny, and I actually laughed so hard I got tears in my eyes on the train going home once. But! I eventually got enough of his put-down humor when I came to a part where he actually writes about people and a place I know. He seems to be travelling around, unwilling to spend any money or effort himself to make his trip enjoyable. And when people sacrifice hours and days of their free time to look after this bungler, out of pitty or decency, he repays them with 7 dollars in gassoline-money!Was this review helpful?
