The latest Cat-Star Chronicles erotic science fiction romance is a terrific tale

Following the destruction of his planet by the Nedwuts, Zetithian warrior Manxarkodrath Panteris escaped captivity and manages to make it to the jungle of Barada Seven where he hides from the local Baradan populace. His only sentient friend is elderly amphibian Zef the Eltran who lives alone in the nearby lake having been exiled by his people because he rejected the advances of a female.

London art gallery owner Ralph arranges a special vacation for his top selling artsy, galaxy renowned nature painter Drusilla Chevrault on Barada Seven. Manx is stunned by his desire to make love to the Terran. Although he knows he has to remain concealed as the Nedwut bounty hunters might find him, he masturbates just dreaming of her even without fully smelling her. To her shock Drusilla has the greatest orgasm of her life when she masturbates too. As Zef plays matchmaker, Manx and Drusilla meet and fall in love, but two groups are coming for him now that he has surfaced.

The latest Cat-Star Chronicles erotic science fiction romance is a terrific tale that sets the scenario up quite beautifully before the lead pair couples so that fans will believe they are visiting a different planet in the galaxy. The story line is fast-paced from the moment Drusilla arrives as the first Terran tourist on Barada Seven and never slows down until the final climax (albeit there are several climaxes of a sexual encounter also). Fans will enjoy the fifth Zetithian entry (see OUTCAST, SLAVE, WARRIOR, and ROGUE) even with the pair's sexual activity and the suspense coming fairly late as Cheryl Brooks provides a strong tale in space.

    Love me some Cats!!!

If only these guys really did exist... I would love to meet one... or take one home with me. But enough about how much I love her story line... this was a nice Saturday read. There was nothing too complicated about this story. As usual, there was some resistance to the characters coming together but in the end love always wins... or atleast you want it too! :) On another note, can I just say that I love Jack and Cat! I almost wish she would write a separate series about all their adventures.

Fugitive is the fifth book in Cheryl Brooks' Cat Star Chronicles

Fugitive is the fifth book in Cheryl Brooks' Cat Star Chronicles. This story of Manx, a Zetithian male in hiding from bounty hunters intent in killing him for a reward, is one of the hottest books (rivaling only Rogue for intense sex scenes) in this series so far. He can't resist a painter on a sort of painting vacation. Drusilla is from Earth and is trying to recover from her most recent disaster of a relationship in a long line of disastrous attempts to find romance.
This couple is a chemical inferno. They're getting off on each other before they even officially meet! When they finally do hook up, it's explosive. Add to this some interesting locals with fun personalities and you've got a book you can't put down. My life went on hold the moment I began page one, and I had it read in 24 hours. What a ride!

    Ok

I've read other books in this series but this one was not what I expected...was missing depth in the storyline or something. Kind of disappointed

Ehhhhh Could not get into it

I really enjoyed Slave, the first book in this series, but have not read all of the others. THis was the first that peaked my interest. However I could just not get into this book. I am a very fast reader and can usually push my way through slowe parts of books in hopes of getting to something better, but honestly I just didn't care enough about the characters to bother with this story.

    It keeps getting hotter!

This is the 5th book in Cheryl Brooks' Cat Star Chronicles series and it does not disappoint. Barada 7 is a whole new planet and Cheryl describes it well. The characters are all quite funny and loveable (Minus the Nedwuts of course) and the plot line grows more and more. The romance is off the charts hot. Definitely a book I recommend to be read over and over again.
