    Good News, Everyone!

This collection of issues 5-9 of the Futurama comic book is a necessity for any Futurama fan. "The Planet X-Press Men", an ode to the X-men, is my favorite.

Bravo! Totally engrossing! War and Peace move over!

Matt Groening has done it again with another brilliant comic presentation bring the antics of that wacky team of Bender, the hateable robot; Leela, the loveable one-eyed cyclops, and that other guy, what's his name, to the printed page. Intelligent and cynical. . .skewers the effete with a mix of disrespect and pedantry. Lacks offensive, demeaning trash typical of celebrated pre-ironic balderdash. This is high level erudite nihilism. Solid jokes. Lines worth signing your e-mails with. The characters becoming richer and more colorful than even the TV series depicted them. Too bad it was not appreciated when it was on TV every week.
