Splitsecond chapter three
I raced to Shaylee's house. Lila was driving us to the airport. Max followed. Midnight and Link sniffed at the ground behind us. As I reached the red door, I turned around for Max to catch up. When she showed up next to me, I pressed the doorbell. I could hear Shaylee saying, "Call you later, Mum." With her New Zealand accent and smarts, she was the perfect Crusader. She followed out the door with Snowball, brushing her perfect brown hair out of her face. "Oh. You're here. Just calling my mum in New Zealand. Lila!" Her equally beautiful sister came out of the door and said, "Time to go! Dad! I'm driving Shaylee and her friends to the airport!" Lila hopped into the silver convertible and Shaylee hopped shotgun. Max and I sat in the back while we listened to the Taylor Swift music and looked at the sights we saw on the way to the airport. The airport was huge. We would know it when we saw it.
