One of the four Glen Campbell albums you ought to own

There are a few Greatest Hits CDs out there but they simply cannot do justice to the four essential Glen Campbell albums: 1) Gentle On My Mind, 2) By the Time I Get to Phoenix, 3) Wichita Lineman and 4) Galveston. Besides the hit title track, this album has songs written by Buffy Sainte-Marie, Barry McGuire, and others, all done as only Glen can do them. A Classic country-pop album from 1969!

    A Classic Revisited

This CD is one of Glen Campbell's best. Ranking up there with Gentle on My Mind and By The Time I Get To Phoenix, this CD remasters the original so that all of the beauty and workmanship that made it great when the album was orignially released is still intact. The range of his talents really shows on this CD with his performance of Where's the Playground, Susie to the touchingly beautiful Friends. I lost all of my Glen Campbell records in a basement flood some years back, and I'm slowly rebuilding my collection with these CD releases. One of the nice things about CDs vs. Albums? - you can listen to all the songs without getting out of your chair to turn the record over!! Such a small thing I know, but once I get into the zone listening to these classics, I just don't want to remove my headphones and get out of my recliner.
