    Galveston Cats Rule

    This year being the centennial of Galveston's Great Storm of 1900 which killed over 6,000 people, many books on the topic have been made available. 'Galveston Cats' is included, but entirely different from all the others. An enjoyable read giving the perspective of cats who survived the storm and the generations to follow that honored the survivors by an annual event known as 'Breaking Flounder'. This is a book children will enjoy, as will adult cat lovers.
