Inspirational for the professional and personal person

A look at what made Job Gibbs a successful man and manager in professional sports (Redskins Head Coach and NASCAR Owner). This book gives the insight from a man that has dealt with some of the hardest to deal with personalities in all of sports (Professional Football Players, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, ect). A great gift for the person who wants to be successful, but can't seem to get past the same hurtles that have been holding them back. A must read for the business professional for on the job and at home life perspective. This book does touch on Christian theme because Joe Gibbs is a dedicated Christian and professional in all professional and personal interactions.

    Definitely worth reading!

This book offered some very good insight on how to live a well-rounded and effective Christian life. Joe Gibbs's method in addressing his audience is very ordinary and relate-able. His views on living a successful meaningful life are painted very simple and clear. He takes a lot of real life experiences and links them to the bible and helps us set up our own game plan on improvement.

One of the many favorite quotes I pulled from Gibbs words is "God creates us, and then he wants us to do good things."

The book is very clear and to the point. His stories offer a removal from the religious text found in every page. It can be a very effective tool in learning where to start your journey if you are looking for a fix in an area of your life. If you are very set in your religious ways some of the biblical references might not interest you. If you don't believe in God, this book will challenge that belief.

I felt this book is very worth the time spent to read it. The pages go quickly and like I mentioned above the stories are timeless if you are a Gibbs fan. I thought the value was high and I enjoyed this book very much. It helped me develop a strong desire to improve my life in certain areas.

This book ranks right up there with Tony Dungy's book. It is really well written and very inspiring; as well as an enjoyable read Christian or not, Church goer or not.. I highly recommend it for anybody to check it out and read!! Great book that could not be put down.

    Great Book

I am a big fan of Joe Gibbs. Yes, I am Redskin fan and a NASCAR fan as well, but I am even a bigger fan of God. This book tells it like it is. My favorite chapter is the one on Heaven. If I can't meet Joe Gibbs on Earth I hope to meet him in Heaven one day. If you are not saved and read this book with an open mind you will be one step closer to having your name written in the Lambs book of Life. Joe along with the other authors of this book have nailed it. I would like all my friends to read it. I want to make sure we are friends for eternity. Awesone job Joe!

A 'must read', without a doubt

While aimed at men, this book should be read by women as well. The football analogies are easily understood, even by those who know nothing about the game. Joe Gibbs has thrown a touchdown with this one.
