    Game Programming for Teens, 3E

Book is great I have no background in programming. But I am a 3d character modeler. I use highend software and I am working on creating my own games. This tool is great to get your feet wet at learning programming if you have no experience though I have not finished the book it is a great help. Especially when you begin learning game loops and logic to which you do use to have your characters move around and actually do something. Recommend this for a absoloute starting point in programming. Then if you'd like you can pursue other languages that are used in the gaming industry.

Game Programming for Teens is the perfect book for teens interested in computer video game design.

Game Programming for Teens is written by a teen for teens. It provides detailed instructions on how to use Blitz plus programming to design your own computer video games. The only drawback is that you will have to pay some additional money (approx. $60) to purchase the Blitz plus software. A trial offer of the software is available for limited usage and is included inside the book.
