    Great for football fans

This was a great book for learning about what football announcers mean when they say things like zone blitz, cover 2, west coast offense, etc. Highly educational and very entertaining. The only reason this didn't get five stars from me is that it was hard to follow some of the play by play descriptions. I would love to see an NFL films version with all of the footage and interviews with Jaws narrating. That would be amazing.

    more from this reviewer

    Nice Job by Jaws

Jaworski does a nice job highlighting key games and coaching innovations that developed the NFL into what it is now as we know it. Every aspect of the game is covered and insights are keen. Passionate and casual fans alike will enjoy his perspective; along with the sheer enjoyment will likely come debates as to other definitive philosophies throughout the history of the game in comparison to those noted by Jaws.
