    What Tookie Says Matters

    There are those who live with the myth,' That this is their problem.' MLK once said, 'A Threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.' History has proven Rev. MLK Jr, as he often was, correct. While America slept I witnessed these once inner city problems of the 1970's creep into the suburbs in the 1980's. While America continued to slumber in the 1990's, with the alarm clocks going off, these problems then moved into rural areas of the country. And today this is a problem all over the world. As Tookie points out this is everyone's problem, just ask your local Police Officer's or public workers on any level. This is Tookie's best book, it reveals a heart that has found redemption and wisdom through repentance. Tookie is a powerful voice for peace and a living example of where the wrong choices early in life lead too. Yet Despite this, what Tookie says matters and he has a lot to say that needs to be heard.
