A fun quick read and a cute gift
I thoroughly enjoyed this series of pithy commentaries on what it's like to be a gay man, inside and outside of relationships. There are many entries that capture the confusion, the pain, and the growth that one can experience. I recommend it for those who want to add to a collection of fun gay writings.

The work may not translate for those just coming out of the closet, and view impending relationships as bliss. But it should bring comfort and smirks to those who lived the life a while. There are references to sexual acts and experience that would make it an awkward gift from grandmother to grandson, unless you swing that way : ) -

Haikus heal the soul...
I must admit, the size of the book (tiny) and the cover design was what caught my attention at first, quickly followed by the title. After that I couldn't help but pick it up out of curiosity. This book is definitely worth reading. You can practically sympathize with the author as he recovers from a harsh break up, trying to get back on his feet in the dating world. Full of sharp wit and very in your face statements, this is not something for the wary.
