Harsh as it may seem, I found this as one of the WORST books I've ever read.
Girl likes guy, girl is invisible to guy, etc etc. When I was reading the book, I could have SWORN I had read the book before, with the great sense of Deja Vu ...
Girl likes guy, girl is invisible to guy, etc etc. When I was reading the book, I could have SWORN I had read the book before, with the great sense of Deja Vu I got...When I realized that the plot is so cliche and overused, that reading the scenerio in a million other books was just bugging me.
This book had a main character who expressed her lack of common sense (in the teen world today), that I could've sworn that the author was five years old.
There are also A LOT of typos that should have been caught by editors of the book.
This is NOT a recommended book to read!!

Geek High disappointed me greatly, with the chilidish views of the main character, and lacking story plot.

geek high
nice quick read.. not what i expected! i thought it was going to be about a super nerdy girl with super nerdy problems & i thought it wasnt going to be all that interesting of a book... BUT I WAS WRONG!! the flow was very well written.. the story was pretty good... i only meant to just START reading it last night.. i ended up staying up all night reading! couldnt book the book down! although it's really not my type of novel, looking back, i actually really like it! i'm going to buy the sequel, GEEK ABROAD, sometime this week.. lol

Geek Chic
I found this book very entertaining. I really like Dex, but Miranda seems a bit over dramatic and stero-typical. Such as, the geek to get-the-guy girl. Though I really enjoyed it. You can even pick up on the connection between Finn and Charlie. I give it a 4 out of 5, read it!

Geek High
I think htat this book was a little too dramatic, and needs a better base of the story. That's just my opinion...not yours!

Miranda Bloom can be described in one word: Normal. Or maybe two: Slightly Normal.

Her life consists of a laid-back mother, an absentee father who just married a demon (more on that later), two pretty sane friends, a dog who loves her dearly, and no boyfriend (which she hopes will change in just a matter of time). She isn't the prettiest, or the ugliest, and she doesn't have a major talent. She can do an equation before you can say calculator, but that isn't really a talent since she can easily be replaced by a calculator.

It's a new year though, and Miranda hopes she can turn her life around. Make it even better than it is right now, which might take a while. From having the hottest and sweetest guy, Emmett Dutch, notice her, to avoiding vicious comments from the evil Felimonster, Felicity Glen, this is the year she truly wants to remember.

Unfortunately for Miranda, this new year of hers doesn't start out so great. Her mom decides to abandon her and go to London to do some research for her new book. That means Miranda has to move into her dad's drab house, which includes his new demon wife and her demon spawn, the oh-so-perfect Hannah. Her crush, Emmett, does notice her though, but only because Miranda trips on the first day of school right in front of him. And when Emmett first meets Miranda's stepsister, Hannah, it is love at first sight, which is good for Hannah but totally bad for Miranda.

Can Miranda survive living with her dad, find a talent, find at least one guy who would go out with her, and navigate Geek High while trying to make this the year to remember?

The first in a new series, GEEK HIGH is definitely GEEKTASTIC!

This is the kind of book that just can't be put down!
This was an awesome book! There was just something about it that made it such a great read! I was looking around at B&N looking for something decent to read. When I saw Geek High I thought it looked somewhat good. After reading it, It was SO much better than expexted! There is never a boring part in this book! I stayed up until about 12:30 when I had starting reading it a bit earlier b/c I could'nt wait until morning to find out what happened next! Anyway, this is one of the best books that I have read in a while and is funny too! A spectacular novel for any young adult who likes all different types of books! I myself am currently about to start Piper Bank's next novel called Geek Abroad! I am pretty sure all of the same characters are in this sequel, except Miranda goes to London to see Sadie (Her Mom) and that is where it takes place! Excited to read it! I hope that this review was helpful for anyone who has free time and likes good books! : )
