One of my favorites--and I didn't even like Lucky much in the other books!
Loved, loved, loved this one! Navy SEAL Luke "Lucky" O'Donlan has been swaggering through nearly all of the Tall, Dark, and Dangerous books, doing his SEAL team ten stuff with aplomb and loving and leaving women at the speed of light. He seemed like a great team member, a fantastic friend, and a true serial dater. He loved himself so much that the readers didn't have to (Though we'd probably pay to see him leave his pool after a nice, long swim. Yum.) Throughout the other books, he seemed a little too perfect, though--as Sydney refers to him in her head within miliseconds of meeting him (and accidentially out loud, about an hour or so later), he's Navy Ken. In this book, though, he gets real. And Sydney--finally--gets Lucky. Well-written suspense, absolutely adorable romance.

Great storytelling
This is a romance classic where the uber-good looking guy has to figure out it will take more than his winning smile to get the girl.

Brockmann does it again
I enjoy all of Suzanne Brockmann's Tall, Dark and Dangerous books. It was fun seeing Lucky O'Donlan being not so lucky when it came to love.

Good series romance to read over and over
Ironically, Lucky and Syd are the least believable characters. The rest of the story is great! Consider this part of a series and it will be more enjoyable than as a stand-alone romance.

Amazing as usual!
I read this one completely out of order... odd to see characters I've already read the books for single again. Loved it, just as I always do.

Why is this book so expensive?
I was just wondering if anyone new why this Harlequin paperback book from 2000 is so expensive? Is it a special edition? I love all Suzanne Brockmann and have gotten even her newest one for much cheaper.

loved it
this book was a lot more different than the other books. it is funny and has the same carters the book. I love how they made it like a misery to find the bad guy what i love most of all is the ending.
