This book got me off of anti-depressants

It is true. In a week's time my house was clean and organized. I had free time. I was able to think ahead. I have heard that if a person has a cluttered house they will usually have a cluttered mind. I have found this to be so true. I have come to realize that I was depressed all the time because I could never see the light at the end of the tunnel. It was as if these women had lived my entire life with me. They sounded so much like me and my sisters except our mother was the messy one. Thank you ladies for giving a realistic way to get out from under the mess. Now I have time to read Optimal Self!

    An organization plan that works

The authors themselves were once disorganized. They tell you how to get out from underneath the mess and into a tidy home by following a few simple steps. They incorporate humor into chores and their story is funny.

    It actually works

I am by far the biggest 'side tracker' there is. I got this book, followed the easy to do directions (the book is so good I couldn't put it down) and in a weeks time, I was able to invite my mother-in-law over, when I wouldn't even open the door all the way for the girl scout selling cookies (I was so embarrassed). This book is charming, funny and the system works!

Best book ever - on any subject. Made me laugh!

This book was EXCELLENT. I was laughing out loud in the library because they were writing about ME! I am on line trying to get their other book, and I will be trying their ideas, sure hope they work. Most important was the last page and a half of the book, it it so true to heart. Thank You Ladies. If nothing else you made me truly laugh and not feel alone!

    This book is excellent!

I read the FlyLady books first and was surprised to find they were based on Pam and Peggy's books . This book is the final product of twenty years of living and teaching the SHE progam. They give corrections of past books and changes when needed. I like to read orginal sources and was glad I did !

Pam and Peggy's perspective is very indepth and was written for happy people who want to become organized and have more time for fun and to become happier!! Fly Lady starts from being clinincally depressed and that perspecitve shows in the way she interpreted Pam and Peggy's orginal program and ideas.

They go to the heart of the issues and offer a way out that doesn't keep you having to "be on the Flying Program" forever and receiving tons and tons of emails as if you were attending AA meetings. FlyLady's "feel" is liken to being on the wagon and if you don't follow it you've fallen off the program and they'll
be there when you come back.

Pam and Peggy's books see you as an adult who can utilize the "act as if principal" until it becomes apart of you. When the habits and routines become automatic you move on to other things in your life. You also b
