I've been interested in the paranormal since I was a kid and Ghost Hunters is definitely a show I do not miss on a regular basis. My interest in the subject still remains but I don't know if I'll be quite as interested in the show anymore. The book is poorly written and, in my mind at least, ruins the credibility of the people involved with the show. Hawes rants about how much individual people annoy him, about how funny he is (his practical jokes are funny, other people's are 'not professional') and how olives - yes olives - helped him with his issue of being 'sensitive' in his early years. Even without the poor writing and childish comments I would have to say that this book isn't worth your money. The majority of the investigations described are from the series, there is nothing new to anyone who has seen these episodes. The parts that do not involve the show are a little too over the top. It left a bad taste in my mouth to think that the fact that someone watching over their shoulders seemed to temper some of the claims of experiences made by the TAPS group. One of the things that made the TAPS people so interesting to me was they seemed to try and take a scientific approach to a subject that isn't usually looked at scientifically. Instead of being a group that runs around 'feeling' spirits or being possessed everywhere they go they were doing it with the purpose of finding evidence that can't be disputed. Unfortunately, after reading this book, I feel like I was wrong with my judgement.

A Fine Book to Accompany the TV Series!
This book is great for anyone who is a fan of the Ghost Hunters TV series on SciFi. You get some insight into the people, their motives and the equipment they use to "hunt." I really enjoyed it and hope they will publish another book soon!

Great insight into the guys of TAPS
This book was a great behind-the-scenes look at the TAPS cases. Some of the stories in the book have been on television for their show "Ghost Hunters" but they are still enjoyable to read as you get a different perspective seeing it all through the eyes of Jason Hawes. The input from Grant is fun and shows how well the two balance each other out.

I was thrilled when this book came out! I am a HUGE fan of the TAPS team and their show and have watched it from episode 1. I was very pleased that they included some earlier investigations. Any Ghost Hunters fan would enjoy this book. I can't wait until they release another book!!

Recommend if you like watching Ghost Hunting
This book was mainly a rehash of the TV episodes written by Jason Hawes. At the end of each chapter, Grant Wilson gave his take on what had happened. I would call it fluff reading.

Read this if your into ghost hunting or paranoraml in general
This book is a very useful tool for paranormal investigators and ghost enthusiasts alike. Goes over cases that are from the show and ones that are not on the show. Also, it gives more insight into the lives of Jay, Grant, and the other TAPS members. Jay and Grant also give very useful advice for people who are just starting or are already doing their own investigations. Advice from how to find and debunk most claims to what to do when you actually come across a case that is genuine.

Highly Recommended- Great Read
I don't miss their show Ghost Hunters on SYFY it's the best show of it's kind. The book is GREAT just like the show. I like how they try to debunk before they say the place that their investagating is hunted. I enjoy how the team works togather especially Steve and Tango, I think they are so funny when the investagate togather. The Book is done very well and recommended everyone to read this one.

Very Entertaining!
I really enjoyed reading about the Ghost Hunting adventures of the TAPS team. I have seen some of the shows but not all of them. The stories are facinating. Some of the stories gave me chills! Thanks to Jason, Grant and all of TAPS for sharing their experiences. I loved it!

Nice read, but nothing new
I have to say I was disappointed in this book. I was expecting ghost-hunting tips mixed with some extra details or stories that didn't make it onto the show. Instead, this book is mostly a rehashing of what Ghost Hunters fans have already seen. Each chapter is about a different case, and most of them are very short. The first dozen or so are older cases from the 1990s that of course were not recorded for TV, and those were interesting to read despite their brevity. However, half the book is a recap of the show. The photos included in the book are even more disappointing than the stories; they are mostly photos of locations or of Jason and Grant, and the ones that are of shadows and lights are nothing special. All in all, this is a book I would recommend borrowing from a library or a friend, but certainly not worth the cover price unless you are a die-hard GH fan who doesn't mind having a summary of the show's most interesting cases on your bookshelf.

Great look!
Great reading! Good book for the person with little time too read. Can get a little reading in here and there with the little short stories of their investigations.

Amazing Ghost Stories
They are living and working my dream job. They take you right along with them on every adventure. For anyone who has the gift to see and hear ghosts, they validate everything we have been saying. I was not born with the ability it was 3 near death experience's. This team is the real deal. Great people. You cannot put the book down. They explain everything just as they do on their show. Just a wonderful read.

A great intro to Ghosthunters
I love Ghosthunters and was excited to see this book. I enjoyed the background info but found that the book was geared to those who hadn't seen the earlier episodes a few times. I suppose I am not the target audience. If you love Ghosthunters, it's a nice connection to Jason and Grant, but if you don't know anything about the program it is an even better read.

Ghost Hunting
Not what I expected, but I really enjoyed the book. It has already been read by the whole family. Will definately keep this one!! Hope Grant and Jason inspire to write another, possibly one on "how to's"...

Excellent book.
It was very easy to read with an easy to understand glossary in the back to help clarify certain terms. A real page turner, I could hardly put it down. Strongly recommend this book for anyone interested about ghost hunting or about TAPS(The Atlantic Paranormal Society) and its founders and members.
